Established in the 1950s, Rivermonte Memorial Gardens in is known as the cemetery on the hill, with beautiful landscaping and hills and a Garden of Crosses with three large granite crosses overlooking the garden at the top of the hill.
Rivermonte Memorial Gardens offers traditional in-ground burials, the only indoor mausoleum in Springfield, indoor glass front or granite front niches for cremation, lawn crypts, a pet cemetery with a special garden for police dogs, and soon a cremation garden.
White Chapel Memorial Gardens

Established in the early 1940s, White Chapel Memorial Gardensis a peaceful country setting with wildlife such as deer, squirrel and rabbits mixed with farming land, railroad cars and normal everyday life minutes from Springfield's west side. The veterans garden has statues of soldiers from the different branches of service, and the Christus Garden has a statue of Christ with outstretched arms on top of a sarcophagus.
